Privacy
The short version: BRIX collects as little as possible, never asks for your brokerage login, and never sells your information.
What we collect
- Waitlist email. If you join the waitlist, we save your email to tell you when BRIX launches.
- Your nickname and what you post. Funds you share to Community (name, stocks and percentages only), votes and comments on the Pit Wall.
- Phone alerts, if you turn them on. A device token and your time zone, so the morning brief and Friday reminder reach you at the right time. Turn alerts off and it's deleted.
- A login cookie. So you stay signed in. It doesn't track you on other websites.
- Your internet address (IP), briefly. Used to stop spam and repeated password guesses.
What stays on your device
Your name, the funds you build and the dollar amounts you type into "My money" are saved only in your browser on your own device. They aren't sent to BRIX. Clearing your browser data erases them.
What we never collect
- Brokerage passwords, account numbers or login codes
- Social Security numbers or government IDs
- Bank or card numbers (when payments launch, a payment processor handles them, not BRIX)
Who else is involved
- Cloudflare hosts BRIX and its database.
- TradingView provides the charts on stock pages. Their chart loads from their servers.
- Google Fonts provides the typeface.
- Links to news publishers, brokers and sponsors take you to their sites, which have their own policies.
We don't sell or rent your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.
Deleting your information
You can delete your own shared funds and comments any time from inside BRIX. To remove your waitlist email or anything else, contact us and we'll delete it. [Support email to be added.]
Kids
BRIX is for adults 18 and older. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Changes
If we change how we handle your information, we'll update this page and tell you about big changes before they take effect.
